Why I Believe Fate Plays A Major Role In Finding Love
If it's meant to be it will be
I grew up on Disney fairy tales. You know, the ones where the princess faces many obstacles only to have her prince come and save her with a true loves first kiss? This fascinated me as a kid.
There seemed to be a pattern with these movies — Snow-white was singing into her wishing well while doing her chores when her future prince just happened to pass by. Cinderella was a poor housemaid who got fortunate enough to have a fairy godmother transform her into the ball’s star — that got the prince’s attention. Pocahontas was led to the place where John smith saw her which was mysteriously orchestrated by the leaves from the mystical willow tree.
‘And they all lived happily ever after.’
I’m sure you’re thinking that these are just movies, a figment of some writer’s imagination, ‘what possibly could these have to do with anything related to love and relationships in the real world?’ Trust me. I know the real world isn’t half as romantic as these cartoons. I know heartbreak and the possibility that even the most intense love doesn’t always lead to forever wasn’t communicated to us in these movies. But still, they make a strong case for what I’m about to say.
