Wow.

A few days after publishing my latest blog post, I actually got paid by one of my favorite clients so, before I complain and worry again, I wanted to take the time to see how much of my goals have been crushed since:

July’s money goals:

Pay off the following:

  • My mom: ̶P̶h̶p̶3̶7̶,̶5̶0̶0̶ →Php 20,500
  • Jan: ̶P̶h̶p̶7̶,̶5̶0̶0̶ ALL DONE
  • JR: ̶P̶h̶p̶5̶,̶5̶0̶0̶ →Php 500(money she left me)
  • Mortgage: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶5̶,̶0̶0̶0̶→ Php 6,000+ Php20,000* (to get the balance below a million)
  • Condo: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶7̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ →Php5,000 (maintaining balance)
  • Refund: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶5̶,̶0̶0̶0̶→ALL DONE
  • Insurance: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶0̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ →ALL DONE
  • Book: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶1̶,̶0̶0̶0̶→ALL DONE
  • Partner’s mom: ̶P̶h̶p̶5̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ → changed to Php 4,000(for June and July)
  • Utilities: ̶P̶h̶p̶8̶,̶6̶0̶0̶ →PHp 4,600
  • Government bills: ̶P̶h̶p̶1̶1̶,̶4̶3̶0̶ →Php700
  • Security Bank: Php50,000*
  • Credit card #3: Php30,000*

That’s a total of around ̶ ̶P̶̶̶h̶̶̶p̶̶̶1̶̶̶4̶̶̶3̶̶,̶̶̶5̶3̶̶̶̶0̶̶̶ →Php41,300 left. Plus the nice-to-haves would mean adding Php100,000 more.

Wow. Just slashed off almost Php102,230 right there! And in just a month!

My nice-to-achieve goals* remain intact. :)

Plus I got to invest around Php10k, or roughly 10%, of my average monthly income. Not bad! :)
