A piece of time

A day has 24 hours or 1440 minutes.

We generally fail to look at time beyond the commonly known units- like seconds, minutes, hours etc.

When we club time in units that aren’t customized to suit our needs we either waste time or miss deadlines. Time when treated right can help you optimize life.

Instead of looking at your waking day as 16 hours (or 14 as in my case :P), look at it as 960 minutes or 48 blocks of 20 minutes each. And suddenly you will feel like you have a lot more time on hand. Now divide tasks into these blocks. Give one block a day to think about these tasks and whether you can do something else with any block.

This doesn’t mean that you only have to do things that would be called productive. It only means that you should be aware of how you are spending your time.
