Monetery Keynote Announcement: Matthew Prince
More than 200 entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and community members attended the inaugural Monetery in 2018, hearing from panelists who built successful tech companies in thriving startup communities.
Our “Minimum Viable Product” proved there was a product-market fit for this event.
Make sure you attend Monetery, May 21–22 at the Temple of Performing Arts in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
“We learned last year there’s a need for an event like this and this year, we’re doubling our efforts” says Dwolla’s VP of Marketing Steph Atkin. “We are incredibly proud that Monetery will not only make connections but will also continue to be a funding engine for underrepresented groups in technology.”
Raising the Standard
Matthew Prince, CEO & Co-Founder of Cloudflare, will be the keynote speaker for Monetery. Prince leads a company that runs one of the largest networks in the world, powering more than 10 trillion requests per month for more than 2.8 billion people worldwide. That’s nearly ten percent of all Internet requests.
Prince will speak at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21 and share his journey building Cloudflare, insights he’s gained along the way and take questions from the audience about building a world-class tech company.
In addition to hearing from Prince, a lineup of world-class speakers will take the stage at Monetery. That current list includes:
- Sherri Davidoff — CEO of LMG Security & BrightWise, Inc.
- Lindsay Knight — Director of Platform at Chicago Ventures
- Martina Lauchengco — Operating Partner at Costanoa Ventures
- Harper Reed — Hacker & Entrepreneur
- Albert Wenger — Managing Partner at Union Square Ventures
Additional speakers will be announced as Monetery approaches.
The agenda for Monetery will provide additional opportunities to grow your network, learn and potentially meet with venture capital firms from across the country.
We want to bring others with us on the journey to growing our tech ecosystem. Because of its access and intimacy, Monetery is unlike any tech conference.
