Happy to announce the launching of the official Merchandise site for the game Heroes & Generals WWII from RETO MOTO. Heroes & Generals WWII is an industry-leading free to play WW2 game with 17 million + registered users. An active community dedicated to playing the ultimate WW2 experience. RETO MOTO is developing and operating the free to play first-person shooter from its Copenhagen base.

Monetizr set out to engaged with the awesome community witch game gear and get their feedback. Check out the official game merch store! With this arrangement, the RETO MOTO team can concentrate on what they love most — developing games — while Monetizr provides white-label merchandising service and responds to customer queries.

The Weeks following the launch was awesome for everyone — 200% better store conversion rate than the industry average, 1.5x bigger basket size ($50.64) than similar games, and enhanced experiences for the whole fanbase.

This was possible thanks to careful pre-planning and social media campaigns. On the launch week, a pre-planned news blast in all games marketing channels and in-game was launched. We developed a social media calendar — the success of the store is directly related to reminders about it.

Few weeks after launch we conducted a player survey about desired future releases, and now we have tons of awesome gear ideas players would love to have!

We start our partnership where RETO MOTO uses Monetizr gCommerce technology enabling to sell physical gear in their channels. Next, we plan to create a series of campaigns to enhance the experience for players and increase game retention.
