Cool new game I’m playing around — it’s called Bike Unchained 2. Build by KUUASEMA in partnership with RED BULL. Here’s how I see Monetizr can enable the sales of game merchandise from inside the game’s UI.

The goal of this strategy is to drive additional revenue by selling game merchandise from inside the game’s UI.

The opportunity

Game’s digital elements like a t-shirt can be easily monetized by selling a real-world t-shirt directly from inside the game’s UI using Apple Pay/Google Pay. If the game has plenty of digital accessories or wearables that can be monetized using game branded merchandise.

In this game, the default BIKE UNCHAINED 2 t-shirt would be available at the beginning of the game for all users. But to more advanced merch designs and limited-edition apparel and accessories can be unlocked by progressing through the game.

The player's experience

The player can access the merch store from the Main Menu. Also, the user can purchase a real shirt/hoodie/sweatshirt of his avatar right from the Avatar view. More products unlock with the gameplay. The user makes a purchase without leaving the game. It’s a secure transaction using Apple Pay/Google Pay.

The value for a game developer

Additional revenue of up to 2–3% from sales of merch with no extra effort. Easy as that!

Beautiful game. Great game guys!
