“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”
- Mrs. Gump

Today morning I woke up with a Forrest Gump song that was playing on the radio.

It made the morning special, and I haven’t even asked for it.

Maybe that’s what Sting means when he sings about the “sacred geometry of chance”.

There’s a design behind the special things.. a pattern, a structure that we cannot control.

Special things are sacred things and that makes them be beyond us.

They only come for a visit, and the only thing you have to do, is to open the door.

A special treat

This week I only wanted to have a normal week.

No push, no extra mile; only comfort and ease.

Nothing grand, and really nothing like a feast.

But how come this week was such a beautiful retreat.

Sacred geometry, can it be that this is life’s treat?

This week I didn’t ask for anything.

But what I got instead, is a special thing.

A cushion for your head

As my words are just the summary of a beautiful week, I want to share with you something that goes beyond the day to day.

And among the work of Hafiz, I have found again, a gem so sweet like a treat in a chocolate box.

Please have a moment, rest and enjoy “A Cushion for Your Head” by Hafiz, translated by Daniel Ladinsky:

Just sit there right now
Don’t do a thing
Just rest.

For your separation from God,
From love,

Is the hardest work
In this
World.

Let me bring you trays of food
And something
That you like to
Drink.

You can use my soft words
As a cushion
For your
Head.

Wish you a beautiful treat,

Michael
