Twitter sued him for not buying their social media company. And now he needs to pay a team of lawyers to get him out of the mess he created.
You’d think, being the world’s richest man, he wouldn’t need extra cash. But I guess that’s not the case.
When I saw the Craigslist ad that Elon Musk was looking for a new roommate, my heart sank. “What has my idol become?” I whispered to myself.
Musk was asking $25,000 per week to be his roommate. So, after shaking off my empathy for the entrepreneur, I jumped at the opportunity. I immediately messaged the email address in the ad and got a response 15 minutes later from his personal assistant.
Apparently, the ad had been up for a week. Musk’s assistant told me people didn’t want to pay that much to dwell in the presence of the richest man on Earth.
The assistant, Robbie, also mentioned Musk got a lot of hate mail after posting the ad on Craigslist— mostly from Twitter employees who loved to troll the billionaire.
