Does anyone miss the little cafe tucked away in a glasshouse on the misty hilltop of Fraser Hill? Fret not!
Deep within the heart of TTDI, lies a cafe on the second story of a shop-lot resembling a glasshouse filled with lush greenery which keeps shy founders Jack and Foo busy dishing out mouth watering desserts with a touch of sophistication.
Diners are greeted by an homely instagrammable corner complete with rustic furniture, inviting sofas and even a bookcase which also acts as a waiting area.
Enter the cafe with an adventurous heart and open mind with the promise of leaving with a full and satisfied tummy.
One of their signatures is the apple strudel with black pepper mango ice cream (RM29) which arrived masked as a crusty dumpling but bursting with nicely spiced apple strudel within. It was accompanied by a mango ice cream which gave with a peppery twist.
Another signature is their strawberry tart with balsamic vinegar ice cream. The strawberries were fresh and extremely crunchy with a layer of light cream which was held snug with a crusty tart. Remember to make a reservation or to go during off peak hours as it can get pretty packed.
Not only were the desserts pretty, they were also unorthodox and undoubtedly delicious.
