Food Truck Review : Rojak Dan Cendol Din

My Original Published Article on Eater : 38 Places To Eat in Kuala Lumpur 2022

This food truckignites personal childhood memories of the days way before the North South Highway and where a road trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur required 6 hours.

Back in those days, I recall rubbing our eyes as I sleepily disembarked the car driven by my parents onto a dusty road which looked like the middle of the wild west.

With widening eyes and outstretched arms, I eagerly sat on a plastic stool by the roadside by the make-shift stall swinging my legs restlessly whilst waiting for a fresh icy bowl of Cendol or in some cases, a refreshing and slightly spicy plate of rojak.

Although the original owners have passed on with the legacy continued by the next generation, it still ignites fond memories each time I drive by the stall.
