Restaurant Review : Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh

Chefs Busy Preparing Aromatic Bowls of Bak Kut Teh

My Original Published Article on Eater : 38 Places To Eat in Kuala Lumpur 2022

This restaurant drifts slightly further from the bustling cosmopolitan city of Kuala Lumpur and into the the coastal town of Klang. Home to one of Malaysia’s beloved dishes, Bak Kut Teh.

Better known to locals as Under the Klang Bridge Bak Kut Teh, this restaurant has been dishing out bowls of aromatic Bak Kut Teh since 1979. However, given its popularity amongst the locals, long queues which snake around the block start forming as early as 8am! Parking is ample but unsheltered. Therefore, if you are planning a trip, aim to arrive early on a nice sunny day!
