Restaurant Review : Tapestry

Days In The Sun. As the world gradually embraces the new norm of masks and temperature taking, I decided to head out to into the sun for an aromatic cup of coffee with mouth watering all-day breakfasts at one of my favourite brunch locations with its well lit interior and chic decor amidst the chatter from it’s bustling morning crowd.

Rise & Shine Egg Drop (RM 22)

The dish consisted of fluffy, soft scrambled eggs cooked with cheddar cheese and topped with caramelised onions and sriracha aioli, held firmly together with a lightly toasted Hawaiian sweet bun and finished with sarsi glazed bacon giving it a slightly sweet yet salty touch to the dish emitting a delightful crunch with every bite. It is one of my favourites from this cafe.

Pan-Seared Chicken (RM 26)

The Pan-Seared Chicken arrived with a delightful crispy skin topped with a sprinkle of black pepper and aromatic herbs giving the dish a dash of spiciness. Sat upon a bed of mashed potatoes, and accompanied by roasted garden fresh greens.

The dish, though simple as it was, was juicy with and extremely flavourful set to satisfy one’s cravings.

As always, I had my cravings satisfied both (caffeine and dining) which I completed with a touch of sweet at the end over friendly banter amongst friends. What more could one ask for on a lazy morning?
