Almost a year ago, we discovered this Izakaya Bar (Tend Bistro Singapore)which is located in Punggol on a driving range. Today, we re-visited to see if things have changed much.

The Brightly Lit Interior of Tend Bistro

Decor wise and ambiance, not much has changed since our last visit. As one enters through the sliding doors, they are greeted by the well stocked bar complete with a variety of tap beers.

The interior only has a couple of tables hence most diners would probably find themselves outside on the patio.

Menu wise, they were still dishing out delicious sticks of yakitori which teleported us to the bustling streets of Japan.

We ordered a variety of skewers to start.

Smoked Duck Yakitori Cubes (SGD 3.50

The Kushiyaki platter assorted mixed sticks (SGD 15.50), Buta Platter (SGD 15.50) consisting of juicy assorted pork sticks, Gyu Ribeye Cubes (SGD 6), Ribeye Beef Cube Skewers (SGD 6) and Smoked Duck Yakitori Cubes (SGD 3.50).

Agedashi Toufu (SGD 6)

In a feeble attempt to hide the fact that we are carnivores, we also ordered the silky smooth Agedashi Toufu (SGD 6), Creamy Potato Cheese Korokke (SGD 9) and Tori Kawa Karaage (SGD 7) which was delightfully crunchy on the outside and creamy within.

Complimenting the meal was a bowl of Terriyaki fried rice (SGD 7).

All in all it was an extremely mouth watering and satisfying meal within a fun filled ambiance.
