Spending The Night Within Lush Greenery

Upon driving up the driveway of The Forest Side, visitors would be welcomed by the beautiful yet rustic cottage-like exterior of the hotel.

It was nestled within lush greenery deep within the heart of the Lake District in Wordsworth’s Grasmere Vale.

Despite the existing building dating back to the 1800s, it’s interior both within the rooms and the public areas are designed luxuriously with much attention given to details.

The rooms are spacious and we were even treated to welcome pastries. The toilet was semi-loft style with steps leading down to the toilet area.
