The Hunt For Excalibur in Llyn Ogwen Lake

After filling our tummies, we headed further into the English country side and decided to embark on a quest into the books of history in search of Excalibur in Llyn Ogwen Lake.
It is, to this day, the last known place of the Sword of Excalibur where a knight of King Arthur cast it.
The path can be wet and a little muddy however it is also pretty scenic as the lake lays between Carneddau and the Glyderau, 2 mountain ranges in Snowdonia.
The drive was scenic and took us through the narrow winding roads within damp forests before finally opening out to the majestic plains of the Snowdonia mountain range.
Therefore, take a short hike and enjoy the crisp fresh air!
