2019: MonkeyData made its way to Berlin and conquered Bucharest
From the very beginning, MonkeyData has had a singular goal that has influenced everything we do — to change the world of eCommerce. It would be hard to achieve this dream without attending eCommerce events, meeting the most important eCommerce players from the industry, and having long discussions on the subjects that matter to all of us in this business.
If you’re still on the fence about attending eCommerce events, we can assure you that being in the center is the best way to gain some new experience, network with other professionals, and get exposure to some of the newest and hottest ideas.
This year we decided to take a more active role in eCommerce events by organizing conferences and attending some of them as speakers.
Berlin: The fastest growing startup ecosystem in the world
February 2019, MonkeyData, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Germany, decided to prepare a special event focused on the Future of eCommerce and AI revolution.
Our promise
There were several reasons why we chose Berlin: for one, it boasts several thousand active technology startups and the city is infused with a lot of up and coming experts who are both creative and open to pushing technology to the next level.
We also saw Berlin as having a lot of potential when it comes to discussing future trends in eCommerce and AI. We wanted to talk to the local startups and businesses to find out what local problems they encounter, and to explore opportunities for mutual enrichment and cooperation.
Bucharest: MonkeyData CEO speaking at TeCOMM 2019
When CEO Jan Lastuvka got an offer to be one of the speakers at this event, he agreed without any hesitation. Romania and its eCommerce world were somewhat unknown to us, but we really felt the potential.
The event took place on April 10 and brought guests over 16 hours of premium content. More than 330 participants working in the digital environment were present at the eCommerce and we can proudly say we were one of them!
The topic was again about AI and what key trends in eCommerce to look for over the next decade, and Jan was able to deliver his vision of what to expect and how to prepare for it.
In the end, we received a lot of positive feedback from the audience, especially regarding the application and use of AI tools and the value of integrating these kinds of technologies into business solutions.
Our main message: “Start today, not tomorrow.”
We are grateful for the chance to have been a part of TeCOMM 2019 and to play a part in forming the future of eCommerce.
