From Walt Disney to Mark Zuckerberg.

Becoming a famous entrepreneur isn’t only about finding a market niche, you have to have strong personality and the ability to dream big, as well as perseverance to overcome the inevitable ups and downs. I spent some time researching the great business personalities born in the 20th century trying to find out how they became unforgettable. To be honest, their lives weren’t always easy, but in spite of that they were brave enough to pursue their dreams. Remember, sometimes it’s good to stop for a while and savour the moment, to reach for those dreams, and to be inspired by people who already achieved theirs.

Sometimes it’s good to stop for a while and savour the moment.

Walt Disney

What Makes Him Unique?

  • He was perfectionist and very critical to his own work. He was always trying to exceed customer’s expectations.
  • He was always trying to find a way how to be different from his competitors. Even a small thing such as calling his visitors “guests,” or his creative designers “imagineers” had a huge impact.
  • He was working with passion, not for money. And even when he lost all his money he never gave up and always discovered ways to regain his losses.

Estée Lauder

What Makes Her Unique?

  • She was behaving according her motto — never show you are angry, you get more bees with honey.
  • She refused to give up and when she wanted something she was able to find very creative solutions for how to achieve it.
  • She was a great marketer — she was using personal selling, word of mouth and other innovative marketing tactics.

Steve Jobs

What Makes Him Unique?

  • He knew how to work a crowd and was able to build excitement about things that sometimes were neither new nor world changing.
  • He was fanatical perfectionist with attention to detail — he focused more on the perfection of his products than his profits.
  • He was amazed by the design of simplicity.
  • He was pushed forward by his strong self-belief and imagination.

Mark Zuckerberg

What Makes Him Unique?

  • Although he was very young, he truly believed in what he was doing and was able to think big and dedicate all his free time to achieve it.
  • He was not afraid to take risks.
  • He wasn’t put off by the competition and continued working on his project to be more exclusive than the others.

Inspired? Yes! That`s great. I wish you the best of luck with your lives and business. Don`t give up, dream big and follow your numbers!
