FRANCE.Islands of Cannes

Planning my trip to Cannes I did not even notice the two big islands next to it. Honestly speaking did not have much planned for this trip, I just wanted to be present.

On the second day, I start looking for interesting places around and saw pictures of the islands. I bought tickets right away for the next boat that was leaving in 15 mins to spend as much time as I can there.

There are two islands next to each other: Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat. I went to Saint-Honorat because it looked more peaceful. It's only 20 mins away from the mainland and round trip cost only 15 euro. Boats run every hour between 8am and 5pm from the main Port.

The view on the way to the island is something special (check out my Cannes stories).

The island has a historical side: 11th century Abbey very much reminded me of Greece. There are also vineyards and a few cute cafes on the island. It's a perfect place to have a picnic or just relax on a sun and swim.

Tiny islands have a unique charm and always beckon me as a place that is not easy to get to.

ОСТРОВА КАНН

Планируя свою поездку в Канны я и не заметила два острова прямо около города. Честно говоря я вообще не особо распланировали эту поездку а просто жить каждым днём.

На второй день я решила погуглить какие в округе есть интересные места и случайно наткнулась на фотографии островов. Я сразу же забронировала билет на следующий корабль который отправлялся через 15 минут. Я еле успела но так как у меня уже была идём на след день поехать в Ниццу, то времени не было и решила как можно быстрее попасть на остров чтобы провести больше времени там.

Лодки ходят каждый час между 8ам и 5рм и поездка в обе стороны стоит 15 евро.

Около Канн находятся два острова, я съездила на Saint-Honorat. На острове монастырь 11ого века, винодельни и несколько маленьких кафешек.

Я обладаю ездить на такие маленькие остова, в них есть свой шарм, нечто уникальное. Острова всегда манят меня своей недоступностью.
