Weekly Update 8/10
The focus for this week’s #WeeklyUpdate will be the conclusion of our milestones achieved in the recent weeks. In the previous week, we concluded our Beta Launch Competition, announced the distribution timeline of our incentivized testnet bug bounty programme, and released our ambassador hierarchy and reward system.
Our MonoX Beta Launch Competition has officially come to an end. We were overwhelmed by our community participation in our competition. We would once again like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing community for your continued support and encouragement for the MonoX Team. We look forward to a summary of the competition this coming Thursday. We have also updated the leaderboard to reflect the final winners.
While the MonoX team continues to drive the development of the MonoX Protocol to strive for a Q3 release we are grateful for our community’s continuous support. In the meantime, continue to stay with us for our updates on our medium. Be sure to keep yourself up to date with ongoing events to get involved with our MonoX ecosystem.
🚀 Beta Launch Competition
The competition officially ended on August 9th at 11:59pm GMT. We would like to thank all participants for your outstanding contributions to our competition. The competition was an amazing experience for the community to interact with the MonoX Protocol and learn more about its features. We were impressed with some of the tokens you deployed as well as some of the strategies initiated by users. The winners are reflected on the leaderboard. We have removed cheaters via our guidelines in the announcement article.

💰 Testnet Bug Bounty Distribution
Last week we released the result of the testnet bug bounty programme. We would again like to thank our community for all your wholehearted support for our testnet bug bounty programme. Our testnet bug bounty programme was initiated to help our development team identify and resolve potential bugs in the MonoX Protocol.
The two month bounty programme allowed the team to resolve bugs of different kinds from minor UI bugs to critical contract issues. The programme was a huge success thanks to our community contributions.
‼️ IMPORTANT
We only rewarded those that actually submitted a bug and the rarer the bug the higher the reward. If you reported a problem where other 99 persons reported the same vs you were the only one that reported a problem with the same level of severity, you’ll get paid differently in these two situations. To be specific, your pay in the second scenario is 100x your pay in the first scenario. This is because we divide the pool by unique bugs first and then each reporter in the bug report shares the reward for that bug.
📢 MonoX Ambassador Programme — Monogenes
Monogenes — “one of a kind, one and only” from the Ancient Greek language.
An Overview of Ambassador Programme
We have onboard over 300 ambassadors to our exclusive ambassador programme in the previous month and will continue to do so on a rolling basis. In just 1 week, we have over 80 count of contributions initiatives by our Ambassadors. We are positive that this number will grow and our ambassadors being the core of our MonoX community will strengthen community led initiatives. We look forward to more exciting ideas from our ambassadors in the coming weeks!
