As it turns out —
— this is not as easily done as it sounds.
This is my 3rd attempt at writing down who I am without boring the reader and myself senseless.
I have been so lucky to be a professional actress since 2000 and make a living by slipping in other people’s skin(and shoes) and I love it.
I also write a little on the side, mainly because I love it, and
I love to do what I love
(So much love in this little work)-but also because I wanted to act, so I ventured to write what I wanted to be cast in.
My new love is writing little blog posts that people actually read and sometimes even respond to (which I love in case you wondered).
I was a dedicated dog-Mum for the last 16,5 years and can feel my tears welling up just writing this, but it is a massive part of me so it belongs here. Since 2019 I also have a little man in my life( a tiny one who is 3, my nephew, and a tall one who is my boyfriend — and a lot older than my nephew but that is my next point).
I found love late in life because I was too afraid to get romantically involved with anybody for fear that it might not turn out as it does in my favourite Jane Austen novels or Disney movies.
I also healed myself from an eating disorder and still have to come to terms with the shame of having had it in the first place, but there you go.
I am the middle sister of 3 sisters and love them to bits while trying to figure out how to be closer to them despite my nomad life and my intrinsic fear of phone-, skype-, or zoom calls.
I love to read and write, and the feeling of having read and written.
I also love to walk for hours on end through the sun without any luggage, just in shorts, flip-flops and a top.
This sounds more like an entry into a best friend’s journal, if you know what I mean, you know the ones where you state your hobbies, favourite meals, books, colours and so forth?
I am almost done, so please bear with me.
I love to read about writing and the writing process, I love melons and pineapples and papayas and all kinds of fruits, I love the summer and sunny weather and the sea and free days without anything scheduled and looking at colourful pictures and flowers and, and, and…
I am dreading to bore myself and you again so I will come to an end rather abruptly about now.
