The quest for success is a well-known pursuit. Just as noble, yet less discussed, is keeping the prosperity long term. Too often, we sacrifice something in the present to get something in the future. We trade health for money, money for health, and sideline the meaningful moments in favor of productivity and future gains.

May 10th’s prompts aim to change that perspective, if only for a moment. Let’s dive in and discover the ways we can keep hold of what we have now through the next big push of progress.

Response articles can be submitted to Monster Alley. Other publications that might allow prompted articles: The Challenged, Thought Thinkers, and Amusing Responses. Remember to tag me, The Accidental Monster in your response!

Maintenance Is The Hardest Easy Job

It’s so easy to neglect ourselves and our lives. Regular maintenance is simple, and usually fairly easy as well — but it’s much easier to not do a thing than to do it! That makes maintaining things a more difficult job than it seems. Solidifying healthy habits over pleasurable or “logical” ones can be a struggle unto itself.

I am weird, spiritual, and deep. Accidentally monstrous at times, but usually with good intentions. https://linktr.ee/theaccidentalmonster
