It’s the month of love and history!
People on Medium love challenges. We absolutely adore them. You know it, I know it. It’s no secret — challenges are amazing.
Last year, I tried to focus too broad, too wide. Monster Alley is a big idea, a huge dream for me. I want to grow it into the amazing writing community I know it can be. But for that to happen, it’s important to create a stable foundation to build on. Something solid and stable, that people can depend on.
Something Like Challenges
One of the most common difficulties for writers is inspiration. That’s why challenges are so great — the right one is like rocket fuel for your inner muse. And it’s a gift that keeps on giving, too. Reading someone’s response to a prompt is often even more inspiring than the prompt itself; challenges help writers help writers.
And so, this February is a month of challenges on Monster Alley. To help writers help writers.
