WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
ALL CLAPS HELP facilitate our Fairy support network, including The International Network of Kelpies (TINK) as well as Wing Transplants, Specialist Medical Staff, Prosthetic Wing Technology (PWT), Research & Development and raising awareness of drug abuse in the Fairy community.
HOW WILL MY CLAPS BE USED?
Fairies are very sensitive, and without adequate aftercare, up to 46% of all wing prosthetic/transplant procedures fail due to body rejection. They are equally responsive though, with FWF success rates now at 96%*
Currently, the FWF subsidises eight state-of-the-art facilities worldwide, providing vital postoperative support, physiotherapy, rehabilitation & counselling — all funded through your claps!
However, with up to 90% of Fairies lacking adequate health insurance, the FWF has pledged to increase this number to fifteen clean, safe, free, recovery facilities by 2025.
