Is it possible to grow fond of someone you haven’t even met yet? Try to picture it — because that’s what happened to me: I fell in love with a picture!

That moment’s magic captured for me the essence of what I longed for. Family means everything to me and for the longest time, my children have been the centre of my life — until I pictured myself as a part of this amazing team.

It’s all about the people you meet in life, it’s about the people you connect with. The more I learned about mySugr, despite my doubts about being what they needed, I knew for certain that they were exactly what I needed.

The Monster tamers care deeply for people, that’s what their everyday life is about. They create to make a difference, most importantly: They create to change people’s lives.

They connect in a truly special way to people living with diabetes. This connection is formed by a deep understanding and nurtured by the unwavering desire to “Make Diabetes Suck Less” which results in a form of dedication and commitment I’ve never experienced before.

A meaningful message and beautifully simple, yet not simply a phrase at all, but a continuous mission statement: “Make Diabetes Suck Less”. They are determined to see it through.

What I felt when I first entered through the mySugr door? A sheer overwhelming togetherness, a family feeling I treasured ever since.

The picture I now saw before me was this bunch of incredibly gifted people, trusting in one another, relying on each other — knowing that they are in this together and can achieve anything: together. Ain’t no obstacle high enough to shatter the team’s confidence!

There’s rarely a moment when my monster tamer family is not on my mind, when I don’t think about their well-being.

I like to be the first one to open the door early in the morning, before my work family arrives, seeing how the office fills with this unique mySugr spirit and watching another mySugr day unfold — this is the time and the picture-perfect place to be.
