Who we are

Founded in 1958, Montana Journalism Review is the oldest of its kind in the nation. Produced by students and published by School of Journalism at the University of Montana, the annual magazine is a mix of undergraduates and graduates in both visual and print. We work behind the scenes to create an annual magazine, as well as website and social media content.

Each year, we usher in a new staff to conceptualize, report, write and photograph the new edition, each with its own theme. But our watchdog focus and commitment to critical content remains the same. We are guided by editor-in-chief, Henriette Lowisch.
