With each turn of a new year, the focus is always on the next 12 months, which goals to aim for, and what can be improved. However, there is another, more positive place to focus, and that is on the progress and achievements from the previous 12 months. For all at Montrose, we have so much to look forward to, but it is what we did in 2019, that makes 2020 look even more promising.

Firstly, Montrose moved into a fantastic new office. The search began at the beginning of the year, however, once we see the building we are in now, it was a clear decision. A beautiful location, great open space, and very easy for staff to commute.

With such a strong dedication from the company heads, and the office manager, there was a 3 month design and implementation process, where staff comfort, and an atmosphere of happiness and job satisfaction, was the most prominent thought. The interior is fantastic, with a mixture of business and home comfort. A nice big kitchen, where we all meet for breakfast and lunch which looks similar to a family Christmas dinner, and each person has standing and sitting desks, the newest and latest hardware and software to work from, and very comfortable chairs.

Also, there is a mini-gym and chillout area. It is important for our team to be able to take breaks, feel cared for, and this is what helps us to ensure that we maintain the high quality of work that has become a part of Montrose’s reputation in the market.

Secondly, with the move to the new office, the emphasis for 2019 was expansion. Montrose has done this by doubling the size of the team, and creating 2 new departments within the company.

With a new Sales and Marketing department, along with implementing a design team, the future looks brighter than ever. Sales and Marketing are looking to increase the visibility of the company, improve best practices with client relationships, and offer a higher level of support to the companies that have been working with us for many years. The Design team increases the services available, as we will be able to increase our design support, along with working with Sales and Marketing to enhance the Montrose brand identity and image.

Also, in 2019, we work on some great projects with some fantastic clients, including Bond Lab, Chasen Advisors, Emma One Sock, Wells Fargo, Kids Discover, Monroe Financial Partners, Quadravision, RBC Capital Markets London, and Union.

We see that 2020 holds so much promise and potential for us, but we are also very proud, and very thankful, for the wonderful 2019 we had, and the possibility to continue to grow and expand as a company. Thank you, and cheers to the future.
