Photographers Are Great Anticipators
An acrostic poem
Pictures are supposed to be worth a thousand words
Hence, the photographer stops time before he ‘clicks’
Once the focus on his object is clear, he waits and waits
To anticipate a moment — precious & priceless
Or he clicks several times and hopes one of them did the trick for him.
Great pictures require anticipatory skills from the photographer
Rare as it is, these skills separate average pics from the award-winning ones
And if you ever glance upon an award-winning pic, rewind the time a bit
Picture the moment when the photographer decided it was time to click
How the time stopped as he was busy waiting for that one perfect moment
You and I now know why photography deserves to be an art form.
