On the battlefield, everyone is equal

When the war first began

each side believed they would

win easily

and then the battle raged on

for a thousand nights

and endless days in the

sun

in the rain

in hail

in storms of Lightning

as the gods showed their

displeasure

at the endless war

with no end.

For fear of being lost to the

other side

it wasn’t too long

until the women

men had looked down for so

long

entered the fray

tired of seeing their

men,

their sons

their fathers,

fall to their deaths,

it was these fierce warrior women

who turned the tide of the war

the men so fearful

of this warrior
