How to Deposit and Withdraw USDC on Curve Finance
Curve Finance is an automated market maker (AMM) designed for efficient stablecoin swapping. It allows liquidity providers to earn fees. Following the collaboration announcement between Moonbeam and Curve Finance, the Polkadot ecosystem has gained access to the largest decentralized finance protocol in terms of total value locked. In this blog post, we’ll go over a step-by-step guide on how to use Curve to deposit and withdraw to/from aUSDC Pool.
Before getting started, you should make sure to have USDC on your balance (the pool accepts Nomad bridged USDC (0x8f552a71EFE5eeFc207Bf75485b356A0b3f01eC9) and Multichain bridged USDC (0x818ec0A7Fe18Ff94269904fCED6AE3DaE6d6dC0b)).
How to deposit
Navigate to https://moonbeam.curve.fi/ and click on Connect wallet. Then, confirm it in Metamask.
Our next step will be heading to the https://moonbeam.curve.fi/pools and finding the pair of assets that you’d like to provide liquidity for — in our case we’ll choose the USDC pool (USDC + USDC).
Note: Remember to keep some GLMR in your free balance to pay for gas fees.
- Click on Deposit
2. Choose the currency you want to deposit. You can deposit 50% / 50% Nomad / Multichain USDC or only one type of USDC, and the pool will automatically rebalance it. In such a case click on Add all coins in a balanced proportion.
3. Click on the Deposit button.
4. A MetaMask window will pop up and you can confirm the permission request transaction.
5. Then confirm the deposit transaction.
And that’s it! Congratulations! You have successfully deposited USDC. Now you can check your deposited assets and all the details about the pool in the blue box at the bottom of the page. To find more information about balances, rewards, etc. go to the ‘My Dashboard’ tab.
How to withdraw:
- Navigate to the Withdraw / Claim tab.
2. Choose the asset you want to withdraw. You can choose both tokens or only one token if needed.
3. Click on the Withdraw button.
4. MetaMask window will pop up and you can confirm the transaction.
5. Now the assets are on your balance.
Curve allows you to receive/earn profit from your stablecoins on the Moonbeam network. It’s quite easy and you do not need to spend a lot of time learning about platforms.
