How to Supply xcKSM and MOVR to Zenlink
Zenlink is an underlying cross-chain DEX protocol on Moonbeam/Moonriver. It enables parachains to quickly have DEX functionality and share liquidity with other parachains. Users can swap, bridge, stake, farm tokens, and add liquidity to the pools.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to supply xcKSM and MOVR to a stable pool in exchange for Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens and how to stake your LP tokens on Zenlink. Before getting started, you should make sure you transferred your KSM to Moonriver and have xcKSM on your balance. If not, please check out our guide on How to Transfer KSM to xcKSM.
Add Liquidity
To get started you should navigate to zenlink.pro and click on Launch app. If you don’t have xcKSM yet you have one more option to transfer your KSM to Moonriver by using the X-Transfer tab.
Our next step will be heading to the Earn tab and finding the pair of assets that you’d like to provide liquidity for — in our case we’ll choose MOVR and xcKSM.
Note: Remember to keep some MOVR in your free balance to pay for gas.
- Click More
- Click Add Liquidity
3. Add assets in equal value amounts (the corresponding amount will automatically fill in)
4. Connect your Metamask account by pressing Connect MetaMask
5. Click on Approve xcKSM
6. MetaMask will pop up and you can confirm the transaction
7. Click on supply.
Note: If this is your first time using Zenlink you may have to review the Terms and Conditions and accept them.
8. Click on Accept and Confirm the transaction
9. MetaMask will pop up and you can confirm the transaction
10. Click on the Back arrow to see a summary of your liquidity
Staking received LP tokens
First, you need to head back to the Earn tab and look for the same asset pair as before (in our case that’s MOVR and xcKSM). After pressing More you’ll see your balance of LP tokens that are available to be staked.
To stake LP tokens received in the previous step you should:
- Click on Stake
2. Choose the staking amount
3. Click on Approve
4. MetaMask will pop up and you can Confirm the transaction
5. Click on Stake
6. MetaMask will pop up and you can Confirm the transaction
Note: You can check the staked balance on the left.
And that’s it! Congratulations!
Now you’re a liquidity provider supplying MOVR and xcKSM and staking your LP tokens. You can also claim your rewards once the reward claim period has started.
