Quest 3: Charge the Mooncrystals

The Moonwarriors’ resolve to find the Mooncrystals led them to cautiously pursue the path to the center of the circular Moontunnel running under Moonriver Valley. They nodded silently to each other, readying their weapons as they took the first steps forward.
The leading warrior held an arm out to stay his colleagues once they had moved deeper into the tunnel because a mist was gathering and it was growing thicker. Continuing in this direction would put them into the thick fog, impeding their vision.
One warrior stepped to the front of the pack. He was one of the bravest Champions, and he led the group forward slowly. He got a ways ahead of the Moonwarriors and called them to hurry.
Through the thick fog, he saw that there were roots growing in through the metal tunnel walls. He could also see the glowing outline of human-looking figures ahead.
The warriors observed that the figures stood in a circle, unmoving as if in a trance. Their energy was connecting them, powering a glowing light in the middle of the group. The tunnel’s center was thick with roots growing as the Moonwarriors watched.
As the group of warriors moved closer to the center group, they felt their own energy connect to the circle. It felt cool and pleasant. The foremost warrior saw that inside the glowing light were 15 crystals pulsing in and out of view. They looked like a hologram, but with each pulse of energy from the assembled group, appeared more real and corporeal.
Immediately the warriors knew what to do. As quickly as they could move, they turned away from the circle and ran back through the tunnel, gathering in the deserted house they had entered from.
“We need as much energy as possible to charge those crystals and bring them into this realm,” said one warrior.
“Yes,” another agreed. “I believe those the figures connected in the center circles are elders, the keepers of the crystals,” he continued.
A quiet Champion cleared his throat and said, “I believe we awoke the elders when we activated the Moonstone with the ghosts. They must have been living among us in the houses connected to the tunnel holes all this time, waiting. The ghosts of our ancestors possess and guide them now.” He searched their faces for confirmation of his theory.
Finding it, he continued. “They are the future and past of Moonriver Valley. To break the enchantment, they need more energy,” he concluded.
“Yes,” said the oldest Champion, “we will gather the entire community of Moonriver Valley. They will line the tunnels and fill these homes to power the Mooncrystals into existence.”
The group of Moonwarriors broke apart and went out to gather the people of the Valley, but when they stepped outside of the house, they were blasted with a wave of unnatural heat.
They found the river partially evaporated and the community in distress. The sun appeared too close to the land, and far too bright.
“It is the Sungod,” they said in unison.
The quiet warrior spoke up again: “The Sungod must have felt the activation of the Mooncrystals too. It makes sense now why he stole The Golden Artifact. He is also timeless and probably responsible for scattering the Moonstone pieces too: Connecting the Moonriver to the Moonbeam will solidify the power of the moon and restore the balance between day and night. A power he wants all to himself.”
This revelation meant time was of the essence.
Gather the community to charge and retrieve the crystals. But what will the Moonwarriors do once the crystals are in their hands? That knowledge will come to them when the time is right.
Begin the Quest
Quest 3 is open to everyone, whether or not they hold the Quest 1 or 2 NFTs. Everyone who completes the Quest 3 Google Form in the allotted time will receive the Quest 3 NFT. Holding the Quest Trifecta (Quest 1,2, and 3 NFTs) will receive a special bonus.
*You MUST have Quest 1 and Quest 2 NFTs in the same wallet that you submit on the Google form, and THEY MUST REMAIN THERE until the Quest 3 NFTs are airdropped to qualify for the Bonus.*

RULES:
a. Complete and submit the form only once. Any repeated applications will be deleted and will not receive the NFT (i.e. repeated wallet addresses, discord handles, Twitter handles)
b. Do not talk about the questions or answers in any public chats or you will be disqualified.
c. No deadline exceptions will be made.
d. Use the Quest channel in Moonbeam discord for help with the Quest itself. There is no discussion on where to find the answers(See rule b).
Instructions:
- Register for Illuminate and be sure to attend Derek’s talk on Nov 10th at 9 am EST.
- Gather your answers from Clue Set 1 & 2 and use them to complete the first five answers on the Google Form. You have about 3 days to work on the form. If you are just starting the Quest now (i.e. you have not been reading the story on Medium), no worries, go to step 3.
- Continue working through the form until you get to question 15. The final clue will be given during Derek’s opening Illuminate talk at 9:00 am EST. The form will close at 21:00 (9 pm) EST on November 10th. NO SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME.
