Quest 3: Remember the Mooncrystals
Escape to Illuminate Part 1
The Moonscientists had completed the infrastructure to connect the universe. The technology would harness the power of moonbeams to enable teleportation to the Mooncity, if only it had enough power.
Moon History
The Ancients of Moonriver Valley were the only remaining souls that remembered the Mooncity. It was their past, and also their future.
The Moonpeople had come to earth on a moonbeam — a risky one-way trip — with the intention of connecting the Moonriver Valley and the Mooncity, but building the technology they needed to return home had proven challenging. With the unanticipated theft of The Golden Artifact by the Sungod and the apparent destruction of the Moonstone (now reassembled), hope had almost been lost.
The Artifact and Moonstone were restored thanks to the happenings of The Lost Artifact and Rebuilding Moonriver Valley Quests. The Champions were instrumental in this effort, but their energy was nearly exhausted by their adventures.
The remaining task was to power up the Moontechnology and forge the essential connection between the Moonrivervalley and the Mooncity to restore time and space to its proper intergalactic form.
As the Moonscientists built the device, they required Mooncrystals to charge the Moontechnology which would harness the moonbeams. Achieving this would open a channel to allow the movement of the Moonriver people to and from their ancient home in the stars. The Moonriver people, with the leadership of the Moonscientists, would connect Moonriver Valley to the Mooncity from whence they came.
As their ranks had diminished over the difficult months, the Moonwarriors went about recruiting any community members willing to participate — even those who had never fought before, and those from surrounding villages.
Quest 3 will require all of your strength and tenacity. Buckle-up Moonwarriors. Mobilize your friends and family to contribute to the cause: The Mooncrystals must be located and recovered, charged, ignited, and utilized.
Understanding the Mission
The Mooncrystals were meant to be held safe with the elders of the community until the technology was built, but over time, many had been lost and forgotten. They were enchanted with a spell to ensure that only those worthy of entering the Mooncity could see them.
The Moonwarriors must gather the community and explore the Valley to find the crystals. Connecting with the elders is the only way to test your worth, so be prepared to get to know the community in depth.
Quest 3 Preview
Quest 3 is open to everyone wishing to participate.
Completing the Quest 3 Google Form in the allotted time will receive the Quest 3 NFT (it is not available yet).
Holding the Quest Trifecta (Quest 1,2, and 3 NFTs) will receive a special bonus.
The Quest 3 Google Form will be released on Monday, November 7th, and the contest will close 12 hours after Derek Yoo’s opening speech at Illuminate on November 10th. Wallet addresses submitted on the forms will receive an airdrop of the Quest 3 NFT.

That said, in anticipation of Moonbeam Illuminate week, the first set of clues will be released BEFORE November 7th. In the meantime these steps are recommended:
- Register for Illuminate and be sure to attend Derek’s talk on November 10th.
- Start collecting Mooncrystals on Monday, October 31, and write down your answers. I.e. Collect the Mooncrystals as they are revealed instead of waiting for the Google Form so that you do not miss the deadline.
- Move Quest 1 and 2 NFTs into the wallet you will submit for Quest 3. If you wish to collect Quest 1 and 2 NFTs, check out Moonbeam NFT Marketplaces.
- Prepare for Battle.
