Introducing Moondock

Hello world! We are Moondock and we are here to unite the blockchain community and its startups with a global network of accelerators, incubators, VCs and business mentors with the goal of growing sustainable blockchain startups.

There were challenges that we kept hearing about over and over from the community, especially emerging startups, so we put our heads together and decided to build Moondock, with the aim to improve the environment for the industry as a whole.

The three main problems that we see in the industry that we want to help with are:

1. The crypto bubble has well and truly peaked, however, blockchain is still very young technology and due to the decentralised nature of the technology, it is vulnerable to risks and attacks, as we have seen in many cases over the last couple of years.
2. A lack of insurance or protection like more traditional markets have, and with the market heavily saturated with new coins it can also be confusing for newcomers.
3. Finally, more and more startups struggle in areas other than the technology, whilst they have extremely talented developers and coders, they need mentoring when it comes to running the business side and operations.

Moondock recognises these issues exist and we want to help the community address them and prevent startups from failing due to lack of resources or investment.

The three key players that are crucial to help the Moondock ecosystem do this are:

1. Startups: We will put startups in front of the right people. We will also assist them with building their business and communicating it correctly and networking with the correct projects in order to find investors in their company.
2. Contributors: We will help contributors identify projects they want to be involved in.
3. Community: Industry experts and advisors from all aspects of business and tech with a proven track record are crucial to contributing to the growth of a company. These guys will join Moondock and mentor startups and help them grow into successful blockchain businesses.

Moondock truly believes that linking emerging startups with contributors and the community is crucial to help the technology prosper, and we are super excited to be part of such an innovative and evolutionary technology.
