Silent and Stealthy We Hide in the Night

Stupid human.

Silent and stealthy in the darkness of the night,

We hide and wait in the shadows.

The stupid human brays to the stars, announcing

“We are here! We are here!”

The stupid human never learns.

We look, We listen, We see, and We hear.

We see nothing, We hear nothing from the stars.

We know. We deduce and We Know.

Nightmares lurk among the stars.

We deduce and We know.

Because We are that nightmare.

The stupid human sings aloud,

The stupid human shouts to the stars.

“Can no one hear us?”

“Where are you?”

Stupid human! Stupid human!

They can’t see. They can’t hear.

Shall We warn them?

Don’t they know by their nightmares?

The nightmares that they shut off, shut away.
