Humility

Years ago I remember talking with an acquaintance at high school (later a work colleague) about humility. He told me the following quote (hard to find a genuine attribution, as cslewis.org believes it is not from him):

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.”

Since then, I have often tried to apply this to my life. I’m sure I’ve failed a lot, but to me this is a good definition of humility.
