Disconnected from the World

I think today that we are disconnected from people. I think that people are too busy on their phone during the day to make connections with new people. Such as if you are in the elevator with someone, people instantly get on their phone and try to look busy texting somebody or get on social media, instead of looking up and meeting a new person. I also think that people are getting more nervous about talking to people. Since we are so busy on our phone, we do not build the skill of making conversations with people.

I think that social media has progressed the disconnection from people because now we have something to go to and look at instead of talking.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
