There is certainly no short of memes in this day and age. Every time you refresh your timeline, whether that be on Twitter, Facebook, or even Instagram, a new meme or viral video will sure to appear. But every now and then if you look up in a room full of people (who will most likely be looking down at their phones) you’ll most likely see someone cringing because of something funny they just saw. These funny videos and images keep us entertained before class, give us a break from long and exhausting hours of homework, and can give you a good laugh. But that’s not all.

What really amazes me about these is how creative/relatable they can be. With the right caption and image combination, you can get 10k plus retweets, shares, or likes on them. I’ll admit, I’ve had a good chuckle here and there from a something I saw on Twitter, especially when I see the jersey shore memes with movie titles as captions. That’s good stuff right there if you ask me.

Some other good examples are the Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump memes that sprouted during the presidential campaign. So what would be doing without these things so called memes, well I have no clue. But if you think about it, they can also bring out your creativity and brighten your day, which is what really matters. So go on out there and get creative.
