Technology in Health care

Technology is progressing very fast throughout the years. Technology really started in 1940 when the first computer came out. Technology today is still making changes and improving and will continue to do so through the years. Specifically, technology plays a huge role in health care. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to provide as much high tech care that we do today. At first, health care used little to no technology. Patients records and charts were just on paper and passed on from doctor to doctor. Records would get lost and then health care providers would have to redo all of the patients past medical history. It would take much time to recover this information instead of focusing on the patients well being. Today with technology, health care providers can give the patient fast and full attention. Some problems still occur with technology such as computers freezing up and erasing data by accident. But, these problems don’t add up to the problems that occurred without technology. Technology is so important to this day and will continue to be even more important in the future. While some people think technology has had a negative impact on this generation, it has done so many positive things as well. In the future, technology will hopefully be the next building block to health care. Hopefully a cure to cancer will be found, other cures to many illnesses and diseases, and much more. To sum it up, technology is a vital aspect of health care, that will be even more important in the future.
