For a long time now, social media has become vital for someone’s social life. It has become something on which we, as a society, are dependent. Social media is apart of our everyday lives. It is something that has become necessary, almost like we have to have it. Social media has left an impact on our lives itself, and it also has an impact on society as a whole.

Social media has become useful as a tool to educate others. In this, world news is available in just a click, and whole other world can be unlocked. We can easily figure out what is going on on the other side of the world. This is phenomenal, probably something not thought of before. News is so accessible to us, and we might take it for granted. This is something we need to look more into as a society, because world knowledge is so vital. No one should live in a bubble.

Social media has become a place of discussion for social issues. With just 140 characters, a tweet can spread more awareness than ever thought before. A tweet can start or spread movements, just like a #BlackLivesMatter movement. This is something that is so important for other people to learn about and for people to understand. Social media can be the spark of change and light the path of justice. Change is imminent with social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. Who ever would have thought social networking sites with small beginnings would grow to something as powerful as it is today?

Social media as a whole is a powerful, powerful tool. And it is something we need to use correctly from now on. It is something necessary for world news and sparking movements for social issues. Social media holds a lot of weight in our lives, and it is only going to start holding more and being more powerful based on the way it is used today.
