As a health-conscious company, we at Thorlos do our best to speak on behalf of our customer base, friends, and the many people that trust and use Thorlos products. Our dedication to creating high-functioning padded sock-wear in a number of designs, colors, and degrees of patented technology, makes the work we do not only useful but thoughtful.

Our thoughts however, go beyond our line of socks, but also translates into our effort to put an end to breast cancer.

Thorlos has partnered with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to help the many fund raising walkers, supporters, and cancer survivors succeed in their individual journeys toward wellness. The ACS works tirelessly to provide around-the-clock services for at-risk women, and those recently diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as provide free screenings, mammograms, and other important preventative care services.

Although our products alone are not a cure, as a company, we believe it is within our power to at least provide encouragement, knowledge and foot protection to those affected by the disease and those raising money to combat it.

In recognition of that, we created two pink padded sock products, one to fit the needs of both patients and their loved ones. The “Distance Walker,” combines all the benefits of our legendary padded technology, with the support and comfort needed to walk, run, or exercise for extended periods, while the “Everyday Walker,” is designed for a-symptomatic feet — or for those who simply wish for a little extra comfort. A dollar from every pair we sell is donated to the American Cancer Society. Learn more at https://www.thorlo.com/cause/

We also support Pediatric Cancer inspired by the selflessness of 5-year-old Braylon Beam; a young boy who wanted to use socks to raise money to help families dealing with the disease.

Genuinely moved by Braylon’s strong and enduring spirit, we partnered with his family to bring a fun and colorful design inspired by Braylon’s extraordinary will to live and mission to help others. Young Braylon was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, which has now gone into remission thanks to the extended care he received from members of the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, as well as the love and encouragement that poured in from millions across the country who witnessed him dance his way through chemo via the family’s social media.

Upon Braylon’s full recovery, the Beams set up a non-profit foundation called Bringit4Braylon, which continues to provide financial help for families and patients afflicted by childhood cancer. The proceeds ($7.50 per pair) are donated to the Bringit4Braylon Foundation, as well as bring a smile to anyone who dawns a pair. Learn more at https://www.thorlo.com/bringit4braylon
