What I did yesterday when we released Linux support for RymdResa

  • Woke up 6 am
  • Drank 5 cups of coffee
  • Made like 4 kg homemade vegetarian lasagna and filled the refrigerator and freezer with it.
  • Cleaned the kitchen.
  • Painted pixels whilst listening to an audio book and eating some strawberries and cherries.
  • Worked on a new puzzle level for imprint-X in Unity. It’s getting pretty cool, and I love working in Unity as well! So glad we switched to this engine, much more hands-on for me!
  • Wrote. Linux press release, newsletter, notes and tweets. Updated our greenlight site for imprint-X a bit and thought about the future copy for the imprint-x homepage. Also wrote a plan for the Linux Release Flow, a list of things we needed to do after pressing the button.
  • Looked over our press lists.
  • Got the idea for a joint blog and when Kim came home we set it up here on medium!
  • Took a shower.
  • Ate ice-cream.
  • Set the Linux support for RymdResa live on Steam together with Kim and created a new Linux thread on Steam and updated the system requirements.
  • We celebrated with some soda in champagne glasses! Skål!
  • Sent literally thousands of mails.
  • Me and Kim posted on instagram, facebook, reddit and tumblr and tried to contact some journalists and youtubers which we didn’t had mail addresses to. We also updated the Dev Logs for RymdResa and imprint-X on tigsource.
  • Watched GOT together with my love and went to sleep 11 pm.
