Anna is a sophmore majoring in Community and Environmental Sociology from Kenosha, Wisconsin. She is the Campus Outreach intern, which means she represents the Morgridge center at different resource fairs and other campus events, and get the word out about who we are and what we do.
I do a lot of presentations to student organizations and classes that would like to learn more about the programs we offer, and right now I’m also co-leading the All Campus Day of Service planning committee with Sam, the Special Events Intern.
What’s a fun fact about you?
“A fun fact about me is that synesthesia, which means my brain associates basically any word, smell, taste or sound with a certain color. Like, one is always dark blue, 2 is always green, 3 is always dark red, etc.”
What does public service mean to you?
“Public service is important to me because it gives me the opportunity to use my time to support some of the awesome community organizations in Madison. I always look forward to getting outside of campus every week, immersing myself in a new community, and learning how I can use my role in that space to create long-lasting positive change.”
