For the Professionals

Lesbians Who Tech

When: February 28th — March 2nd

Where: The Castro Theatre in San Francisco

Entering its 6th year, Lesbians Who Tech is quite possibly the largest professional event for queer women and allies in the world. The flagship conference takes place in San Francisco each year, but the organization has spawned a number of other conferences (notably NYC and a few international ones), and they have a commitment on diversity and inclusion with 50% of speakers typically being WOC.

Even if you don’t work directly in tech, it’s a great organization to network, learn about what’s happening in the world, and learn more about amazing women who support other women.

GCLS

When: July 10th — July 14th

Where: Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown in Pittsburgh, PA

The Golden Crown Literary Society (GCLS) is an awards conference for lesbian fiction authors. The conference takes place in a new city each year, and the organizers are always committed to finding queer-friendly locations that provide a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. Whether you publish lesbian fiction or want to meet your favorite authors, this is the place for you!

For the Adventurers:

A-Camp

When: June 5th — June 10th

Where: Situated about 2 hours outside of Los Angeles

A-Camp is the brainchild of lesbian-powerhouse Autostraddle, one of the last independently run publications for queer women. Think of it as the adult gay summer camp your tiny heart would have loved as a kid. This is one of the events that we mentioned fills up quickly. Tickets go on sale January 31st, so make sure to grab yours soon if interested!

The Morning Boo Team at The Dinah with Big Boo, Pennsyltucky, and George Takei

Dinah Shore

When: April 3rd — April 7th

Where: The Hilton Hotel in Palm Springs, CA

A staple of the lesbian-event landscape and imprinted in our minds and hearts forever after being featured on The L Word, The Dinah continues to bring women from all over the world for a fun-filled and booze-fueled long weekend in Palm Springs. With pool parties happening during the day and concerts in the evening, there’s really nothing else to do except mingle with 10,000 other lesbians from across the globe.

Back Lot Bash

When: June 28th — June 30th

Where: Chicago, IL

Back Lot Bash is a women-focused party happening during Chicago’s fun-filled PRIDE weekend every year. Details haven’t been released yet, but if you’re heading to Chicago PRIDE, it’s a great choice if you’re looking to spend time with other women.

For the Media Enthusiasts:

Clexacon

When: April 11th — April 15th

Where: The Tropicana in Las Vegas

Entering its third year in 2019, ClexaCon is a one-stop shop for all your favorite wlw ships. If you’ve ever wanted to see all the actors who play your favorite lesbians or fangirl out with fellow lovers of lesbian media, this is the place to be. The con is getting bigger every year, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find an actor portraying a wlw relationship that isn’t attending. Although dates haven’t been announced yet, ClexaCon also has a smaller con in London each year if you aren’t based in the United States.
