Life is either a daring adventure… Or nothing at all

Oh, how I love this. What moves me the most is that it was Helen Keller who said it. Here we are getting to live with all of our faculties and we fear stepping out into the unknown. We fear the opinions of others. We fear taking risks.
And here’s Helen without sight, hearing, or the ability to speak urging us on to live life like a daring adventure!!!
Oh, how she inspires me.
And she’s right.
To live life as a great adventure doesn’t mean sky-diving and doing “reckless” things (although it could be).
It is simply being who we truly are without concerning ourselves with whether anyone else approves. It means trying the things we would love to try. It’s doing the things that our souls want to do. It means risking “looking crazy” or being considered “stupid” or not following the status quo.
Because it’s the status quo that kills our adventurous spirit.
We have been taught that if we fit in, go along, obey, don’t rock the boat, and…
