The Pharoah should have let the Jews leave town. He just wasn’t paying attention to warning signs like locust swarms and the bloody Nile River. To avoid having their firstborns killed, God suggested that the Jews swab lamb’s blood over their doors so the Angel of Death would pass over them.
That took faith. Building pyramids for nothing but bread and water must have been miserable…
