Set up a writing routine to improve your confidence

I typed up a pitch sheet when my Boulder writing group met in person. When I met with a publisher at a writing conference, I headed her my one-sheet. “Can you send me a manuscript?” she asked. My first and only pitch ended up with a book deal.

If you’re working for yourself or someone else, the routines are pretty much the same, but the intentions are different.

My observations, casual or part-time writers, don’t self-identify as writers. They are a fireman, a cowboy, a nurse, or a ballerina, whatever they grew up to be.
