OPEN for submissions & new writers!
Background
A little bit about us — our two editors are Alan O’Hashi and Alison McBain. Although Alan lives in the US and Alison lives in Canada, our editors met outside of Medium through an online writer’s group. (If you belong to our online group, let us know when you sign up as a writer! We’d love to publish your work.)
What We Publish
We’re open to all types and styles of creativity, including:
- Nonfiction articles and essays
- Fiction (all genres)
- Poetry (all forms, short or long)
- Humor
- Art/Comics
We ask that submissions be kept under 2,000 words. Stories can be metered or unmetered, but please have titles and subtitles which are clear, well-formatted, and NOT clickbait.
We WILL republish work that’s already available on Medium (please make sure to follow Medium’s rules and don’t submit it as a new draft, only send it to our magazine as-is) — so if you published an article last year, feel free to submit it to us and we will republish it and highlight it as one of our featured…
