Wyoming: A small town connected by long streets

The last building standing in the once vibrant Japanese neighborhood in Downtown Cheyenne was 509 W. 17th Street. It was razed to make way for 10 townhouses.

I drove to my hometown, Cheyenne, Wyoming, yesterday for a Beyond Heart Mountain book talk. My memoir is set there and is about my Baby Boomer childhood growing up in Cheyenne and my exploits around Wyoming.
