From being hurted, broken, full of flaws to being calm, content and full of love…can you heal, transform yourself and your life?

I know about Susan David via her famous TED Talk 5 years ago.

Few months after the Covid 19 pandemic began, in 2020, I was listening to her podcast Checking in with Susan David. Since then, I’ve always had the thought of finding the book and reading it. However, I did it only today, 2 years deep into the pandemic. It’s amazing how long it took me from “intention” to real action 😊

End of this 2021, my sister gifted me the book, and thanks to the gift here I am, reviewing it 😇

I really enjoyed the book. Susan did a great job of explaining how we can be hooked by emotions with great examples. She gave good advice on how to keep a distance from our own emotions and make better choices that align with our core values. Different psychology tools and tips were provided to help us become more aware of our emotions and recognise values that are important to us. In the book, she presented different strategies to cope with emotions so that they serve us, not vice-versa. It was especially exhilarating when I was reading part 7. Moving on: The Tiny
