Growth mindset in 5 minutes
key points for opening yourself to growth
It’s summer and I just finished reading the book Mindset — changing the way you think to fulfil your potential written by Dr. Carol S. Dweck
Below are my takeaways from the book.
Although, I highly recommend you to read the book because it has rich information with great explanations and studies that would give you a more comprehensive understanding about mindsets: fixed or growth. This book also addresses some common misconceptions about growth mindsets which is very crucial to know in my opinion. Understanding the concept correctly is always the solid first step.
My purpose of writing this article originated from the thought that some of you might need a really brief idea about growth-mindset before diving into a deep search about it. I hope you will enjoy it. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
